It is reported that the 2023-24 Clipper Global Sailing Race Qingdao Station will be held from March 21st to 27th at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
3月14日，青岛市人民政府新闻办公室召开新闻发布会，通报2023-24克利伯环球帆船赛青岛站有关情况。据悉，2023-24克利伯环球帆船赛青岛站将于3月21日至27日在青岛奥帆中心举办。
It is reported that the 2023-24 Clipper Round the World Sailing Race set sail from Portsmouth, UK on September 3, 2023 local time. This season has attracted 11 fleets consisting of over 700 crew members from 55 countries and regions around the world to participate. It is expected to take 11 months to visit 6 continents, 8 countries, and 14 ports worldwide, with a total voyage of 40000 nautical miles (including 8 stages and 14 stages). At present, stage 6 races are underway, and "Qingdao" has won one schedule championship. According to the current navigation trajectory, the fleet will arrive in Qingdao around March 21st and depart for Seattle, USA on March 27th.
据了解，2023-24克利伯环球帆船赛已于当地时间2023年9月3日从英国朴茨茅斯起航。本赛季吸引了全球55个国家和地区700余名船员组成的11支船队参赛，预计历时11个月，到访全球6大洲、8个国家、14个港口，总航程四万海里（含8个赛段、14个赛程）。目前，正在进行赛段6比赛，“青岛号”已斩获1个赛程冠军。按当前航行轨迹测算，船队将于3月21日前后陆续抵达青岛，并于3月27日起航前往美国西雅图。
In 2024, it will be the third time that the "Sailing City Qingdao" has been named the Clipper Division. In the 20 years of cooperation with the Clipper Round the World Sailing Race, Qingdao has achieved 9 "firsts".
